Kuerner Farm, Chadds Ford, PA

Kuerner Farm is a National Historic Landmark, made renown by the relationship between the farm and the Kuerner family to the artist Andrew Wyeth, who grew up and lived as an adult nearby.  Wyeth, from his teens to old age, created upwards of 1,000 paintings and drawings of the farm and members of the Kuerner family.  Most of the subjects of the images on this page are found in many of Wyeth's paintings.

Karl Kuerner III, grandson of the original Kuerner family inhabitants, still lives across the road from the farm, off of Kuerner Hill, and oversees the property and its inhabitants - two cats and two goats.
